Shortly after opening the meeting, the presiding officer will allow homeowners in good standing who wish to address the board an opportunity to speak for up to three minutes each. Some concerns may be addressed on the spot, but other issues may be tabled until a subsequent meeting to give all concerned fair notice of the issue.
After all homeowners have spoken, the Board will move to the rest of its agenda. At this point, homeowners are asked to respect the fact that directors have an agenda to discuss; therefore, do not introduce new topics or speak spontaneously during the meeting. By state law, when the board goes into Executive Session all homeowners will be excused from the meeting.
