CAN I RENT MY HOME?
You may rent your home under three conditions. 1) You must have owned your home for at least one year. 2) You must rent your home for a minimum of one year. 3) You must complete a rental form and turn in into the management company. The form can be dn the Legal tab of this website.
ARE THERE PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN GATED NEIGHBORHOODS?
Gated neighborhoods, street parking is only permitted for approved deliveries, pickups, or short durations, not to exceed 8 hours. Blocking access to fire hydrants, driveways, mailboxes, or restricting traffic to just one lane is prohibited 24/7. The speed limit is 25 MPH.
WHAT ABOUT PETS?
The city of Granbury has authority over pets. Always be a good neighbor and clean up after your pets. You may download the pet policy on the legal tab of this website.
HOW DO I OPERATE PEDESTRIAN GATES?
All pedestrian gate locks have the same code, four digits followed by the # sign. Example 1234#, please note, the # is after the 4-digit code.
HOW DO VEHICLE GATES OPERATE?
A) Use a Key FOB. Your FOB open all gates in Harbor Lakes. If your Key FOB is not working, it is usually 1 of 3 things that maybe causing the problem:
1) The battery in the Key FOB probably needs to be replaced. You will need to open the Key FOB, take the battery out, and get a replacement from a store.
2) The battery may be in the Key FOB incorrectly. Take the battery out and turn it around.
3) The Key FOB serial number may not be registered with Spectrum.
B) When approaching an entrance gate make sure you are doing the following with your gate Key FOB:
1) Point the Key FOB at the gate control box. You usually can start pointing the Key FOB at the gate control box before you get to it, and it will start to open.
2) Do not drive up to the gate and point the Key FOB at the gate. The gate will not open. The sensor to open the gate is in the gate control box.
C) Gate Codes
1) You are allowed two 4-digit gate codes; a resident gate code and a vendor gate code.
a) Your esident codes will open a gate 24-hour x 7 days a week. Your resident code should only be given to family and friends.
b) Your vendor code will only open a gate 7am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday only. Your vendor code should be given to your lawn service, cleaning service, &/or pool service company....
2) We suggest that you save these codes under contacts on your mobile phone. Make sure to mark “R” and “V” in front of the 4-digit number.
3) To use a 4-digit access code you need to go to the gate control box.
a) On the keypad you will enter # and then your 4-digit gate code.
b) Make sure you put the “#” in front of the 4-digit gate code. Example: #1234.
D) Open House
If you are selling your home and would like to do an Open House, below is how you make arrangements to have the gates open:
1) Go to harborlakeshoa.com
2) Fill out the contact information form. You will be contacted, and arrangements will be made to set up the day/time of the open house.
E) Security:
1) Your 4-digit gate code and Key FOB(s) are assigned to you and your street address.
2) When we know the time frame of an incident, we have the capability to go online and look at which 4-digit access codes and/or FOBs were used to open a gate.
3) If a FOB is compromized we can deny access to the compromized FOB.
4) Be careful to whom you give your 4-digit code.
HOW DO I GET A KEY FOB?
All Harbor Lakes residents may purchase a Key FOB.

4) Click on the picture of the gate Key FOB and add to cart
5) Follow instructions to check out.
